Few days back vmware announces SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES) come to End of Availability (EoA).
Vmware and SUSE are alliance partner since 2004 and VMware uses the SUSE Linux as primary OS for the appliance. All kind of support where free(not sure for exceptions) with respect to OS.
